  • Develop and maintain productive professional relationships with committee leaders, committee members, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and facilitate effective in-person and virtual item-development and review meetings, including preparation of materials, agendas, and follow-up activities as needed.
  • Monitor committee timelines, assignments, decisions, and deliverables; communicate risks or delays and coordinate follow-up to keep work on schedule.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver onboarding, guidance, and ongoing training for committee leaders and members related to item development and review processes.
  • Assessment Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Use item-performance metrics, psychometric data, reviewer feedback, and process measures to identify opportunities to improve assessment content and development processes.

  • Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of item-development methodologies, committee practices, and quality standards.
Systems, Workflow & Content Infrastructure
  • Collaborate on system enhancements related to item banking, assessment delivery, content review, and committee workflows.
  • Maintain current task lists, process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and other resources needed to support consistent item-development operations.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend or implement improvements within the scope of the role.
  • Effectively use ABPD technology platforms and adapt to new systems and tools as organizational needs evolve.
