Job description

An entry level Assembly, Test, and Validation Engineer job in West Palm Beach, FL is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered, you will need a bachelor"s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline and 0-4 years of professional experience.
Job Duties:
In this job, engineers will assist with and orchestrate the teardown, assembly, and rebuild of commercial and military gas turbine engines. Engineers will interact with and lead technicians, quality engineers, and integrated product team members to ensure compliance with engineering standard work and the successful completion of the needed engine activities. Engineers will provide assembly management and generate engineering solutions to complex assembly and testing problems. Engineers will also learn and be responsible for borescoping activities along with gaining a full understanding of all test instrumentation, test setup, and assembly processes and tooling needed to complete the engine activities.
Requirements:
* BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline with zero-four years of experience
* Requires a highly enthusiastic, self-starter that is team oriented and has excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Shift work required, including possible evening and overnight shifts; some weekend/holiday work is expected
* Must be comfortable working with and presenting complex technical information cross-functionally in a team environment as well as individually
* Due to the nature of the work, you must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred:
* Knowledge of mechanical systems, assembly and disassembly processes, manufacturing, tooling, and instrumentation
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and product specifications is highly desirable
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $72,800 to $83,200 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
