Description:

This position is responsible for the High-Quality Assembly of Homes within the Committed Building Schedule while achieving High Customer Satisfaction in an Accident-Free Environment. Senior Status – Above average knowledge of proper process and quality construction. In addition to the Superintendent responsibilities, the Senior Superintendent is expected to assist management in the recruiting of subcontractors, improvement of the plans and vendor scope of work and overall set a leadership example for the entire construction department.

Requirements:

- Assertive, tenacious, meets deadlines consistently. Can get people to do things they would not otherwise have done on their own.

- Ability to work independently and with a team.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Thorough understanding of all stages of construction process including both rough and trim.

- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal codes regarding building and construction.

- Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA guidelines.

- Ability to read and comprehend detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and detailed development drawings.

- Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Outlook (email), and experience with a residential production scheduling system.

- Thorough understanding of local, state and federal codes regarding building and construction.

- Experience in Production Homebuilding environment.

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

- Minimal travel required. Employee must own or lease a TRUCK and possess a valid driver’s

license with insurance coverage.

- Employee must have cell phone with data package.
