Job description

Location: Manitowoc

Shift Hours: 6am to 2pm Monday through Friday with Occasional Overtime

We offer competitive base wages starting at $19.00/hour, with pay increasing based on experience.

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our Wall Department. The ideal candidate will work across multiple work centers, contributing to various tasks including assembling wall panels, material handling, cutting plastic, pulling product from warehouse for orders and maintaining a neat and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut plastic materials accurately and efficiently.ย 
  • Assemble wall panels according to specifications.
  • Handle materials and manage inventory in the department warehouse.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.ย 
  • Glazing- accurately cutting, bundling & labeling of parts
  • Plastics & Aluminum Cutting- accurately cutting, documenting, & inspecting of parts
  • Genius Corners- properly grove & bend sliding door covers & genius corner base covers
  • Edging- properly operating mini-melt glue unit & spray gun as well as pulling trim corners for fabric tack-able shells
  • Filler Panel- Correctly assemble shells into frame, use of nip roller
  • Assembly of Mushrooms & Stiffeners- assemble stiffeners & mushrooms to shells, operate nip roller & staple tack-able shells

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred.ย ย 
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail and precision in cutting and assembly tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle materials and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
