Job description

Beyond Vision is seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our commercial manufacturing business while advancing our mission of creating meaningful employment opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired.

This is a unique player/coach leadership role responsible for developing new manufacturing customers, expanding strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing business development team across our Machine Shop, Commercial Assembly & Packaging, and Contact Center business units.

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$86,000
  • Total Target Compensation: $120,000+
  • Quarterly Performance Bonuses based on:
    • Individual sales performance
    • Individual business development activity
    • Overall sales growth and activity across all three commercial business units

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new manufacturing customers and expand existing commercial partnerships.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through proposal and close.
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the commercial business development team.
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and key business metrics.
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent Beyond Vision through networking, customer meetings, tours, and industry events.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while promoting Beyond Vision's mission.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of successful B2B sales and business development experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience selling manufacturing, machining, assembly, packaging, or related industrial services strongly preferred.
  • Leadership experience managing sales or customer service professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
