Job Summary
The Assembly Line Operator will be assembling complex communications parts on production or automated lines.
Job Responsibilities
  • Follow the direction of the floor supervisors and plant manager.
  • Read carefully and understand applicable quality control documents at assigned workstations for product you are responsible for.
  • Sign in and check off on applicable quality control documents after performing necessary quality check tasks.
  • While handling product during various stages; packaging, sorting, clipping weighing, etc.; reject any piece that is not of set quality standards.
  • Ensure all products packaged at every stage are of the utmost quality, with the final stage being of the utmost importance.
  • Promptly report to floor supervisor when the machine you are assigned to is down.
  • Frequently do grinder checks to ensure proper granulating function.
  • During grinder checks, always ensure you grind in appropriate designated grinder and if a mistake occurs, shut the grinder off and report the incident immediately to your supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to perform all assembly positions in assigned work area.
  • Able to work in all assembly related machines.
  • Ensure you are following the control plan, work instructions, and processes.
  • Able to identify defects and communicate to machine operator to ensure quality specs are met.
  • Follow all safety rules, work instructions and work order processes.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner. Always wear all PPE and follow all policies.
  • Report any safety issues or conditions to your lead or supervisor.
  • Ability to read the work orders and labels and understand ALL its contents.
  • At least 1 year of production line experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
