Northland Staffing Solutions is looking to hire experienced Production Line Leads to oversee daily operations for our client located in Minneapolis. This is a second shift opportunity working 2:30PM-11PM Monday-Friday with occasional overtime. Our client is a leading Contract Manufacturer working with several Fortune 500 Companies. This pivotal role involves supervising assembly line activities, ensuring safety standards, maintaining product quality, and optimizing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with factory operations, and leadership skills to motivate and coordinate team members. Responsibilities of the Production Line Lead:

  • Lead and coordinate the assembly line team to meet production targets efficiently and safely
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
  • Operate and oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and forklifts as required for assembly tasks
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance or reporting issues promptly
  • Train new team members on factory procedures, safety guidelines, and proper use of tools
