Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-precision electronic and mechanical products, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Pay Rate: $21

Shift: 2nd Shift (will start on 1st for training)

What's the Job?

  • Assemble high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products according to detailed specifications
  • Crate and package finished products for shipment
  • Utilize blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances
  • Select and operate a variety of precision measuring and checking equipment
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and productivity

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work under general supervision and support team efforts
