Assembler II (Electrical)
Location: Riverside, CA
Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
Onsite Hours for production: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Position Summary
Responsible for assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and sustaining electrical systems within automated assembly equipment and advanced manufacturing platforms. This role supports low-voltage and high-voltage systems. This position operates in a Production environment and serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned work centers. Assemblers play a key role in the manufacturing process by connecting and securing parts to create finished products. They follow detailed work instructions, use tools and machinery to perform precise tasks and verify that components meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Position Requirements
- At least 3 - 6 years of electrical assembly or industrial automation experience.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and assembly process.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, multimeters, torque drivers, and measurement equipment.
- Knowledge of grounding, shielding, circuit protection, and safety systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical environment.
- High paced assembly environment, experience working with quality and engineering.
- Experience working on electrical components and low and high voltage is recommended.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an EV environment is highly desired.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred.
- Robotics certified or experience is preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automation systems preferred.
- Mandarin language is a plus but not required.
- Experience with high-voltage safety protocols preferred.
- Technical certification or vocational training in electrical systems is preferred.
Work Environment:
- This position is based in a manufacturing assembly environment and may require standing, use of hand and power tools, and handling of components consistent with standard assembly operations.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with hands for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to established limits with or without assistance
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
