About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Chaska, MN bakery. As a Production Supervisor, you will be accountable for leading daily production operations while ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in driving operational performance, developing Team Members, and delivering products that meet customer and Aspire Bakeries standards.


Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 1st
  • Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

Salary Range: $68,000- $92,000.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and customer service objectives.
  • Supervise and develop production Team Members through coaching, training, performance feedback, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and cost performance.
  • Monitor and analyze production, labor, and material performance to support achievement of operational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve production challenges and maintain workflow effectiveness.
  • Promote a safe workplace by identifying risks, investigating incidents, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a culture of safety.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn and utilize ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment requiring standing, walking, bending, and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in bakery, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar manufacturing ERP systems.
