Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will direct the financial and technical bidding lifecycle for premier commercial and residential asphalt maintenance projects. This role grants you the professional autonomy to evaluate complex site conditions, engineer highly competitive proposals, and dictate project margins. You will directly fuel company revenue growth and build strategic partnerships with regional property managers and general contractors.


How You Will Make An Impact

  • Estimate comprehensive project costs including raw asphalt materials, specialized labor, and site logistics.
  • Conduct precise field site visits to analyze surface degradation, drainage issues, and structural needs.
  • Formulate technical, line-item competitive proposals and formal sealed bids for high-value contracts.
  • Coordinate closely with project foremen and paving crew leads to align estimates with field execution.
  • Communicate with prospective corporate and residential clients to clarify specialized project scopes.
  • Manage incoming commercial pipelines, technical inquiries, and digital communications related to asphalt solutions.
  • Build sustainable client relationships while actively promoting the organization's multi-tier pavement services.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in asphalt maintenance, structural sealing, or paving estimating.
  • Active and valid driver's license paired with a reliable method of personal transportation for site visits.
  • Solid capability to manage, track, and execute multiple time-sensitive property estimates simultaneously.
  • Proven technical proficiency utilizing corporate computers, professional email suites, and basic estimating systems.
  • Strong physical capability to traverse uneven terrain and active jobsites during detailed field measurements.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced technical knowledge of hot-mix asphalt properties, structural binder courses, and sealcoat application variables.
  • Demonstrated experience bidding public works, commercial municipal projects, or formal sealed government tenders.
  • Prior field experience working as a paving laborer, crew foreman, or civil construction specialist.
