Job description

Job Overview

We are currently seeking safe and reliable asphalt plant laborers to join our team. This position supports daily operations at our asphalt plant, assisting with production, maintenance, and overall plant efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with the production of asphalt by supporting plant operators and crew members
  • Perform general plant maintenance, including cleaning, shoveling, and site upkeep
  • Monitor materials and assist with loading and unloading of trucks
  • Operate hand tools and small equipment such as shovels, brooms, blowers, and skid steers (if qualified)
  • Help maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in outdoor conditions, including heat, dust, and varying weather
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in asphalt plant operations, construction, or similar labor-intensive work preferred but not required
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
