Asphalt Paving Foreman – Job Description

Position Summary

Tinsley Asphalt seeks an experienced Paving Foreman to oversee daily paving and road construction operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and direct asphalt paving crews, laborers, equipment operators, and truck drivers.
  2. Oversee asphalt laydown, compaction, grading, and traffic control activities.
  3. Inspect completed work for uniformity, smoothness, density, and adherence to plans.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ Forman experience in asphalt paving is required.
  • Strong understanding of DOT and municipal paving standards.
  • Leadership skills with ability to motivate and direct crews.
