Job description

Key Responsibilities (Field Leadership)

As a hands-on Foreman, you will partner directly with the Project Supervisor to direct daily field operations, optimize the paving train, and deliver high-quality work.

  • Operation & Quality: Operate the paver and screed with precision to deliver smooth mats, tight longitudinal joints, and a flawless final lift.
  • Site Preparation: Inspect the subgrade, evaluate drainage conditions, and verify jobsite layouts before the hot mix arrives.
  • Yield Management: Monitor layer thickness and track daily tonnage yield, ensuring.
  • Crew Management: Assign daily field roles, maintain high crew productivity, and actively train personnel to eliminate skill gaps.
  • Logistics & Reporting: Coordinate layout schedules and maintain clear communication with the Project Supervisor regarding tack coat application, truck cycles, or scope adjustments.
  • Asset Care: Oversee daily routine preventative maintenance of equipment, monitor paver functionality, and ensure the jobsite is left clean and organized.
