Job description

SUMMARY

Responsible for developing business with US customers by marketing cross-border financial products and services, working with Relationship Management (RM) officers in charge of the customers Responsible for developing business and strategic relationship management activities in US for inbound business of customers located in other regions (excluding Japan)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1) General Business development liaison and coordination between RM officers, and overseas branches and subsidiaries Evaluate customers' financing and non-credit requirements, determine the most appropriate arrangement, and make presentation to customers about cross-border products (ex. CMS, Trade Finance, Japanese Syndicated Loan Market, etc.) Visit US-based customers with RM officers to promote cross-border products. Collect global business information on existing US customers located in other regions to facilitate the customer business strategy and credit analysis Respond to various customer requests Report clients' comments and feedback to senior management
  • 2) Administrative Prepare and update presentation materials of cross-border financial products. Prepare for profit report and other internal documents, report them to relevant stakeholders, and keep the records Perform other work related duties as assigned
  • 3) Policy Understand Mizuho policies and procedures including portfolio objectives and lending guidelines Adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines in promoting bankโ€™s products and services
  • 4) Technical Skills Required Advanced Excel, Word and Power Point Credit, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision making skills Superior written and oral communication skills (including presentation skills) plus negotiating abilities
REQUIREMENTS

Strong interpersonal and organizational communication skills Presentation skill including MS Power Point skill, oral presentation skill, information gathering, etc. Knowledge on the Bank's organization, network, products and services, internal procedures, etc. Profound experience in a financial institution, including direct customer relationship management responsibilities Minimum Bachelors Degree Bilingual communication skills (Japanese-English) are a nice to have but not required.

The expected base salary ranges from $110,000 - $160,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.

In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
