Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs all duties in a manner which promotes and supports the Core Values and Compact of The Corvallis Clinic
  • Integrates Lean principles, practices and tools to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction
  • Frequently must follow written and oral instructions as well as complete routine tasks independently
  • Completes annual compliance training on HIPAA/Privacy/Confidentiality/Non-Discrimination/Harassment/Integrity Statement and signs Agreements
  • Ensures confidentiality of patient information following HIPAA guidelines and TCC policies
  • Attends training to meet requirements of the job position and as needed or mandated by TCC policies, OSHA, and other state/federal regulations

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Current RN License in State of Oregon
  • Current AHA- BLS and ACLS certification
  • 5+ years of nursing experience in specific assigned area (OR, Endoscopy/GI Lab or POH PACU)
  • 2+ years of leadership experience (lead, supervisor and above) in a clinical setting or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of ADA, Fitness for Duty, FMLA policy, HIV counseling procedures & blood borne pathogen protocols, WISHA/OSHA mandated regulations, Personal protective equipment, Hazards materials, and Infection control procedures
  • Knowledge and ability to teach and apply current theories, techniques and practice
  • Utilizes effective communication skills in interpersonal relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers
  • Demonstrates effective/informative charting & written communication
  • Skill in applying & modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide on-going patient care
  • Critical thinking skills, ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Word, Outlook and limited expertise in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
  • CGRN (Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse) certification
  • ASPAN Certification
  • Demonstrated advanced level of achievement of performance standards according to AORN or ASPAN standards of practice
  • Demonstrates ability to carry out skills as outlined in nursing procedures for clinical areas worked including administration of prescribed medications & treatments in accordance with nursing standards and clinic policy
  • Demonstrates ability to perform self-evaluation, taking responsibility for own professional growth and development
  • Demonstrates accountability/responsibility for own actions and decisions
  • Demonstrates ability to function effectively in emergency situations
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate (verbal & written) and maintain good relationships with medical staff, management, customers, & other departments
    Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
