This is a pool posting for potential Instructor needs that may arise for Summer 26 and the Academic Year 2026-2027. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. Job Description
Applications to this pool will be utilized to fill non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible Instructor positions for delivering in-person courses at the Athens Campus for our Graphic Design Department during the 2026/2027 academic year.
We are looking for industry professionals for potential instructional opportunities in Art + Design.
Minimum Qualifications
A Master's Degree in Art and Design (or related field) by the start date of appointment, or the equivalence of through a combination of education and experience in accordance with Ohio University policy 18.001.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The ability to develop, and/or update, course curriculum and curriculum delivery materials/modes
  • Experience with Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design
  • Experience with Learning Management Software/Platforms
