Position Summary
The Fine Arts Department is recruiting for one part time Student Worker to work in the Arts Studio for the Fall 2026 semester. This position is responsible for providing support to the staff in the Arts Department in the delivery of student-centered support services. This position assists in responding to student inquiries while fostering an environment of exceptional customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Assist with performing office duties such as answering phones, greeting students, monitoring email, data entry, making copies, and other clerical duties as needed
  2. Assist in inventorying and organizing studio supplies and supply closets
  3. Assist in organizing the studio space and managing the ceramics and 2D art studio
  4. Assist with setting up and moving furniture as needed for studio classes
  5. Assist with department events and shows as needed
  6. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and/or Art Instructors

Qualifications
  • Enrollment in minimum of 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semester and 3 credit hours in the summer
  • English proficiency
  • Demonstrate proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Friendly and professional attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to establish and meet timelines
  • Team player who is dependable, punctual, organized, and detail oriented
