Applicant Pool for Adjunct Faculty, Fine Art, Studio
Job Description:

Instructor will lead students in the study and practice of topics in studio art classes in one or more of several disciplines. These may include drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of traditional as well as contemporary trends and techniques in candidate's specific discipline. Candidate should have an active and significant exhibition record.

  • This position requires the individual to have strong skills in the following: 1. Written and oral communication. 2. Problem-solving. 3. Critical thinking.

  • Candidate should have demonstrated facility in, and the ability to teach one or more of the following studio disciplines: Drawing Fundamentals (observational drawing), Life Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, or Sculpture.

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstration and guidance of studio art classes, as well as supervision and evaluation of class projects/student work.
