Overview:
Ready to help shape the visual identity behind our television brands? We're looking for a graphic designer with strong production instincts and experience in entertainment marketing to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President of Art & Design, this role partners closely with art directors and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality assets across campaigns, platforms, and titles spanning brands like Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Comedy Central, and CBS.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Design and produce marketing assets supporting Paramount Television Media brand initiatives and promotional campaigns across multiple networks (Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, Comedy Central, CBS)
  • Participate in daily check-ins and status updates with art directors based on Airtable job orders
  • Execute creative revisions and generate new creative concepts
    • Adapt key art for social and motion assets, and help inform motion graphics direction
    • Source photography as needed
  • Present work directly to art directors and, as needed, wider leadership
  • Create modular systems that scale across platforms and deliverables
    • Prep final templates for adaptable asset sizes and configurations across platforms (hero assets down to social/device sizes)
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy, organization, and archival practices
    • Ensure files are accurate and production-ready
    • Keep organized, well-labeled file structures for archival and handoff
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Art, or Advertising, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional design experience
  • Demonstrated experience executing key art, including adapting key art for social/motion use
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint required; proficiency in other Adobe tools (Photoshop, InDesign) expected
 
Additional Qualifications:
  • Figma proficiency a plus, not required
  • Strong command of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and file organization
  • Deep understanding of responsive and adaptive design across mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Building modular, scalable systems that adapt across sizes and placements
  • Comfortable collaborating with product, marketing, and development partners
  • Illustration skills a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $69,000.00 - 100,000.00. 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
