Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Creative Studio Senior Manager to join our team in Holland, MI.

As a Creative Studio Senior Manager you will:

Provide leadership for the Creative Studio, evolving our creative strategy, operational priorities, and business objectives. Accountable for the performance, quality, and outcomes of art direction and creative services across programs, campaigns, and strategic initiatives. Develop and execute Creative Studio strategies, guide leaders and teams, and drive innovation in creative execution while advancing brand and organizational priorities. Oversee resource planning, creative workflow, and team development to ensure the delivery of high-quality creative solutions that drive business impact.

Essential Functions
  • Leads the Creative Studio team through setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring delivery of high-quality creative outcomes aligned to business objectives.
  • Develop and executes the Creative Studio strategies that align with brand standards, customer insights, and organizational goals, ensuring consistency across programs and platforms.
  • Oversee large-scale and complex creative projects, ensuring alignment to timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while driving operational excellence.
  • Establish and optimize processes, governance, and standards to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality across all Creative Studio deliverables.
  • Partner with senior leaders across marketing, product development, Haworth international, and communications to align creative direction with enterprise priorities and influence decision-making.
  • Manage departmental budgets, long-range planning, and resource allocation to support strategic priorities and maximize return on creative investments.
  • Coach and develop managers and senior creative professionals, building leadership capability, succession strength, and a high-performing team culture.
  • Solve complex and ambiguous creative and operational challenges, applying strategic thinking to drive innovation and improve organizational outcomes.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Fine Arts, Marketing, Creative Media, Design Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in art direction, creative services, brand design, studio management, marketing communications, or a related creative discipline (5 years with a Master's degree).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and developing creative teams, including performance management, coaching, and resource planning.
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
  • Education Equivalency: Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled creative tools and workflows to enhance team productivity, creative output, and operational effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with creative workflow, project management, and resource planning tools such as Workfront, Roadmunk, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital tools like motion graphics, animation, video production, and digital content development processes.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, and emerging creative technologies.
  • Experience overseeing multi-disciplinary creative teams, including photography, video, graphic design, digital design, and creative production.
  • Experience with creative project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and vendor/outsourcing management.
  • Experience utilizing team performance metrics and KPIs, including project volume, utilization, budget adherence, schedule performance, and customer satisfaction.
