The startup specialises in the global shipping & storage of high-end goods: paintings, sculptures, basically any valuable or bulky merchandise, alongside market leading SaaS technology to solve the problems that Registrars and Art Operations professionals face today.
Our mission is to become a tech-driven company in a traditional industry, and therefore make the shipping & storage of bulky and valuable items as easy as possible by providing an online and seamless experience.
We currently serve a wide range of customers from art galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, online platforms to interior designers.
Your Role:
As an account coordinator at Convelio you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of art logistics. With your unique skill set and passion for innovation, you will contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the industry.
In this role, you will support our account management team with all aspects of art shipping and client management and is suitable for a new graduate or early career candidate; we offer the opportunity to build a strong foundation in art operations with the path to an account manager position.
What you'll do:
- Quote clients for international and domestic shipments.
- Book new shipments into our system for established clients in the art and design industry.
- Book, schedule and monitor our courier shipments with dedicated reports, tools, and a shared platform whilst troubleshooting and removing roadblocks.
- Support international customs clearance via ITN generation.
- Suggest and implement process improvements within the account management team.
- Work closely and collaboratively with our account management and overseas logistics teams.
Your profile:
- You are a recent graduate or early career, looking to jumpstart a career in art and design operations. This role is suitable for those with a degree in art history, studio art, logistics, management, or similar.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are well organized and disciplined in daily activity planning and know how best to prioritize.
- You are enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated and hands-on with a strong work ethic.
- You enjoy working in a challenging fast-paced, target-driven and team-oriented environment.
- You are an excellent learner with a desire to adapt to new concepts and technologies.
