Job description

SUMMARY:

The Arrowhead Lead will prepare & make sure all food is consistent quality food, cashier and help train the Arrowhead staff to ensure excellent customer service in a clean and friendly environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize Agilysys system to ring in orders, receive funds, and count back change.
  • Prepare food consistently according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean & stocked work environment.
  • Ensure food safety and appropriate sanitation measures are followed.
  • Stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles.
  • Operate and clean commercial restaurant equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform prep work as needed and to Executive Chefโ€™s standards.
  • Receive, use, and return a bank with appropriate paperwork daily.
  • Work closely with managers to improve employee morale and help conduct employee discipline fairly and consistently.
  • Fix tickets and handle guest complaints when a manager isnโ€™t present or is busy.
  • Help with ordering through SWS & inventory when necessary.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Arrowhead cook & cashier in CCRH Arrowhead for at least 6 months preferred.
  • 2 years of previous direct customer service and food service experience required.
  • 1 year fast food style customer service experience required.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Food handlerโ€™s permit preferred; ability to obtain a food handlerโ€™s permit required.
  • Alcohol service permit preferred; ability to obtain a Serve Safe permit required.
  • Strong customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to multi-task is a must.
  • Cashiering skills required.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be skilled at multi-tasking and following detailed instructions precisely.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • De-escalation & handling guest complaint skills preferred.
  • Agilysys (POS) system knowledge preferred.
