What is an Army veterinary?

Army veterinarians are commissioned officers in the military who provide veterinary care for government-owned animals, such as military working dogs, ceremonial horses, and research animals. They also play a crucial role in food safety, ensuring that food supplies for service members are safe and meet health standards. Their work supports both military operations and the overall health of the armed forces.
