CAD Drafter – Revit / AutoCAD / MicroStation
Full-Time, On-Site | Fort Drum, NY | U.S. Citizenship Required | Veterans Encouraged to Apply

Job Summary
SYNCADD Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time, on-site CAD Drafter at Fort Drum, NY, to digitize and edit building floor plans accurately and efficiently using CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit). You will turn LiDAR scans and field redlines into clean, standards-compliant drawings that the Army relies on to manage its facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Digitize and edit building floor plans accurately and efficiently
  • Create accurate, detailed CAD drawings from LiDAR scans and/or field redlines
  • Manage files, drawings, and maps for report output in various formats
  • Adhere to quality control procedures and maintain documented standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and on-time project completion
  • Create and maintain project documentation as needed
  • Participate in regular Microsoft Teams calls and program meetings
  • Stay current on software upgrades and industry standards
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Fort Drum installation access (due to federal contract requirements)
  • Associate degree or technical school certificate in Computer-Aided Design or a related field, OR a minimum of one year of relevant CAD experience
  • Six to twelve months of hands-on experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit in an architectural application
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work full-time on site at Fort Drum, NY, during required Government operating hours
Preferred Qualifications
These are nice to have, not required. We will train the right candidate.
  • Working knowledge of the A/E/C CAD Standard 4.x (or later)
  • Ability to read and work from LiDAR scans
  • Knowledge of architectural floor plans and construction documents
  • Familiarity with Army regulations and organizational structure, including AR 415-28, AR 405-70, and AR 420-1
  • Prior military experience

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience,and includes health care and retirement benefits. A relocation allowance is not provided for this position.
