The Gist… 

We are seeking qualified Data Analysts to (1) improve the completeness, accuracy, reliability and timeliness of Army financial data and information, (2) identify business process risk and establish an effective financial internal control environment, processes and procedures, (3) understand and improve the production of Army’s annual and quarterly Financial Statements and footnotes, (4) modernize capabilities through innovative technologies, business process re-engineering, and software development, and (5) provide alignment of strategy to efforts through governance, communications, and knowledge management. The ideal candidate is experienced with Python, SQL, Databricks, and/or Palantir Foundry.  

This is a hybrid position requiring the ability to work on-site in Crystal City, VA at least 3-days per week. 


  • Serve as a key contributor on a data-driven team supporting Army Audit Readiness objectives, focusing on financial management and technology enablement.
  • Design and develop financial dashboards and data visualizations that translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a product manager for financial management technology solutions, defining requirements and ensuring alignment with audit readiness and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, prioritize features, and manage delivery of scalable solutions that enhance transparency and efficiency.
  • Analyze existing financial processes and systems to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support modernization initiatives.
  • Support integration of advanced analytics and automation tools, leveraging platforms such as Power BI, Qlik, Power Apps, and Databricks to improve reporting and decision-making.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to federal financial management standards, audit readiness requirements, and applicable compliance frameworks.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage product backlogs, and coordinate iterative development cycles to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
  • ONE (1) year of experience in data analysis, financial management, or technology-enabled transformation projects.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) and familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Databricks).
  • Understanding of federal financial management processes, audit readiness requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
  • Ability to commute to client and Guidehouse offices in respective locations 3 days per week.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe).
