Welcome to Loves: The Ariba Procurement Specialist will manage day to day activities to support the overall Ariba Guided Buying platform and procurement activities.
Job Functions:
  • Ariba Daily Tasks:
    • End user support for the Ariba Guided Buying process
    • Manage inquiries for Ariba orders and ordering process
    • Ariba catalog review for accuracy related to current images, item descriptions, and negotiated item level pricing
    • Monitor Ariba Guided Buying interface and order transmission
    • Monitor requisition approvals in Ariba Guided Buying
  • Ariba Functional Activities:
    • Assist in integrating suppliers into Ariba buying and invoicing process.
    • Assist in onboarding, training, and educating new suppliers as needed related to catalog creation and revisions
    • Provide support to Ariba Procurement Supervisor and IT to implement and maintain configurations and data including authority hierarchies, catalogs, and changes to the system
  • Ariba Strategic Support
    • Assist with Supplier Business Reviews
    • Run, distribute, and analyze Ariba reports; make recommendations as appropriate
    • Work with Ariba Procurement Supervisor & SAP Procurement team to transition spend to the Ariba platform
    • Participate in supplier negotiations and RFX support as required

Experience and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field preferred
  • Procurement experience required
  • Ariba Procurement module experience preferred

Skills and Physical Demands:
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required
  • Experience with large scale accounting systems strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn new software applications and computer programs
  • Comfortable handling multiple interruptions and adjusting priorities throughout the workday while meeting deadlines
  • Communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with diverse individuals and to consistently handle interpersonal situations in a professional and respectful manner
  • Excellent memory and organizational ability
  • Sufficient arithmetic skills to perform routine accounting and mathematical computations
  • Possible evening/weekend work
