Lee & Associates Riverside is seeking a motivated Leasing Associate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for a position based in Riverside, CA. This role is focused on leasing retail spaces in shopping centers, handling tenant-related issues, and maintaining relationships with national and regional brokers, tenants, and vendors. Key responsibilities include showcasing vacant spaces, negotiating lease terms, and managing lease renewals and assignments. An understanding of market trends and competitive landscape is essential.
Position Responsibilities:
  1. Lease Acquisition: Actively secure leases for vacant spaces within shopping centers.
  2. Tenant Relations: Address and resolve tenant issues efficiently.
  3. Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate Letters of Intent (LOIs); work with legal counsel to facilitate lease agreements from LOI to final execution.
  4. Relationship Management: Build and sustain positive relationships with national and regional tenants, brokers, vendors, and contractors. Provide clients with pertinent information on active tenants, leasing availability, current market conditions, property values, and regular progress updates.
  5. Property Showings: Conduct property tours for potential tenants, explaining leasing terms, tenant improvements, and space advantages.
  6. Lease Management: Negotiate business terms and manage lease renewals and amendments.
