As an Assistant Manager, you'll be a vital leader in a fun, fastpaced environment that prides itself on Genuine Hospitality and teamwork. Working closely with the General Manager and the rest of the team, you'll help shape the strategic vision of our restaurant, motivate and develop staff, and ensure that every guest experience reflects our standards of quality and service.   • Uphold Freddy's standards of Hospitality, Quality and Cleanliness and teach them to the team
  • Lead by example, be vocal and prepared, and demonstrate strong timemanagement skills
  • Show a willingness to learn and accept coaching and constructive criticism
  • Practice situational management, expect the unexpected and correct operational mistakes with guest satisfaction as the goal
  • Spend most of your time on the restaurant floor rather than the office, maintaining a sense of urgency and intensity
  • Assess team performance, coach and develop team members and build a positive culture
  • Control labor and food costs, reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipment
  • Build relationships with guests and handle guest issues with a hospitalityfirst mindset
  • Manage vendor relationships, product ordering and inventory appropriate to sales volume
  • Utilize management tools such as spreadsheets, schedules, financial reports (P&L), pars and inventory levels to drive profitability and growth
  • Hire, train and motivate staff, coordinate schedules and perform performance analysis to identify opportunities for growth

About You

  • At least 1 year of experience as a shift lead or manager in a fullservice, casual dining or quickservice restaurant
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service and develop people
  • Experience reading financial statements, sales or activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement
  • Proficiency with desktop software and spreadsheets; experience with labor management and P&Ls is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards while managing time and priorities efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • A dynamic personality and passion for serving highquality food with a smile
  • Always focused on profits, sales growth and team development

Physical Requirements

  • Availability to work a variety of hours (days, nights and weekends) within the local metro area
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to a 10hour shift and lift up to 40lbs
  • Willingness to bend, stoop and occasionally use a ladder
