Job description

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for bringing in new business and growing existing accounts in the Fulton Industrial Area.


This person will build relationships with local companies, understand their hiring needs, and sell staffing services. The goal is to increase sales, open new accounts, and help customers find the employees they need.

Responsibilities

  • Find and contact new businesses through cold calls, emails, networking, and in-person visits.
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers such as Plant Managers, HR Managers, Operations Managers, and Business Owners.
  • Present staffing services and explain how we can help solve hiring challenges.
  • Prepare pricing proposals.
  • Follow up on all sales leads and customer requests.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Grow sales with current customers by identifying additional staffing needs.
  • Work closely with recruiters to ensure customer orders are filled quickly.
  • Maintain accurate notes and sales activity in the company's CRM or ATS.
  • Stay informed about local employment trends and competitors.
  • Attend networking events and community functions when needed.
  • Help resolve customer concerns and maintain excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Staffing industry sales experience preferred.
  • Outside sales experience required.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and prospecting for new business.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
