Job Description
Primary responsibilities include: 1) Design creative Internet of Things (IoT) based engineering projects for students that address real-world problems. 2) Design IoT based engineering projects that illustrate engineering and technology topics, such as wireless communication, Internet of Things, 5G, VR, AI, among others. 3) Manage various projects from start to finish, including documentation and prototypes. 4) Work with others across departments to develop new engineering activities and projects, including engineering and government affairs. 5) Conduct hands-on workshops to refine IoT based engineering project by incorporating feedback and lessons learned. 6) Support Thinkabit Lab staff with engineering content and new IoT projects in general.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Low level embedded software development experience -Communications software experience (e.g. ethernet, LTE/4G/5G, WiFi, BT, NFC) -App Inventor -Arduino Software Development Environment -C Programming -Microsoft Block Editor -Arduino board and other micro-controllers -Basic electronic components, including sensors, buttons, and resistors -Basic understanding of new technical topics such as 5G, IoT, VR/AR, cyber security -Project development and management skills -Education, teaching, tutoring or training background -Excellent verbal and written skills -Excellent interpersonal skills -A desire to work with students of all ages -Proficient in Microsoft programs, such as Word, PPT, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
C++ Programming Android App Development Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
Education:
Bachelors engineering (computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science)
Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of IoT and ASIC s/w development life cycle and Excellent knowledge in digital integrated circuit or core design, digital IC architecture
  • Need not have in-depth knowledge. Looking for above moderate guys in terms of knowledge Need to understand what exactly the product does.
  • Able to work with different functional teams
