How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Capture high-precision diagnostic images by skillfully positioning patients and selecting accurate exposure factors to ensure physicians have the clearest data for life-changing diagnoses.

  • Advocate for patient safety by strictly following radiation protection guidelines, ensuring every individual receives the highest quality scan with the lowest possible exposure.

  • Manage the safe administration of contrast media and medications, vigilantly monitoring patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and stability.

  • Optimize the diagnostic workflow by ensuring the prompt, accurate submission of images and clinical history to digital archives, facilitating faster answers for patients and their families.

  • Guarantee a reliable care environment by performing regular equipment checks and maintaining a pristine clinical space, ensuring the department is always safe and ready for the next patient.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
