Job description

Essential Functions:

  • Presents and promotes Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services to architectural, design and engineering firms with a specific geographic region.ย 
  • Works with Design Build construction firms.ย 
  • Maintains accurate files and records involving Stonhard accounts by executing necessary paperwork such as maintaining a Salesforce Automation (SFA) database with projects and activities associated with that project and/or account.ย 
  • Communicates closely with Stonhard Territory Managers/Project Engineers/Market Managers/Business Development Managers regarding project recommendations, bidding, estimating, and quoting of projects within his/her SFA project pipeline.ย 
  • Gives group presentations to architects, interior designers and engineers relating to Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services.ย 
  • Meets or exceed Stonhard's minimum activity standards for quotes and orders as set by Stonhard sales management.ย 
  • Contacts a minimum of 10-15 clients in-person per week.ย 
  • Enter a minimum of 5 new projects per week within Salesforce.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years' industry experience in similar sales, design, or equivalent role.ย 
  • Spend a minimum of 4 days per week in the field with Stonhard customers.ย 
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions.ย 
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills.
  • Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
  • Has the ability to organize and prioritize activities.ย 
  • Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365.ย 
  • Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.ย 
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.ย 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.ย 
  • Must be able to physically transport sample case and literature to customers (approximately 40 lbs. weight)
  • Must possess reliable transportation (driving time in a typical day - 30%ย 
  • This position requires wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, and depending on the task, may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing, while on the worksite.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Bonus potential (First 2 years average): approx. $15,000 - $40,000

Supplemental Pay Types: Bonus Pay, car allowance, expenses

Benefits: 401k w/ company match after 6 months, Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, flexible schedule, life insurance, tuition reimbursement
