Job description

The Architectural Manager is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
Collaboration

  • Regularly collaborate with cross-functional partners including Design and Engineering teams.
  • Manage multiple internal project teams and external consultants.
  • Assist the Design Team with the creation and evaluation of design initiatives, including new options, styles, and architectural details.
  • Support the Architectural Operations team during discovery and design phases of new technology projects.

Project Management / Quality Control

  • Ensure projects meet established deadlines, budget requirements, and quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including new construction documents, lot specifics, and revisions.
  • Read, interpret, and apply construction and building codes.
  • Identify, collect, and analyze relevant project data and documentation.
  • Collaborate with all project stakeholders to maintain alignment.

Leadership

  • Support senior leadership through limited business analysis to assist with informed decision-making.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and governance of architectural standards and procedures.

Required qualifications for the position include:

  • NAAB-accredited B.Arch or M.Arch.
  • National homebuilder experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong architectural and construction knowledge.
  • Proven project and people management experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related professional experience, including at least 2+ years of people or project management.


Preferred Qualifications for the Position Include:

  • Experience with SketchUp and BIM360.
  • Residential architectural experience.


Pay Rate: $65.49 per hour.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
