Scope Architectural Consulting is a growing architectural firm specializing in industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, corporate, and commercial projects throughout the United States. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Production Manager to oversee our production team and help deliver high-quality construction documents on complex projects.
This is a full-time, in-office leadership position. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not being considered.
Position Summary
The Architectural Production Manager / Technical Lead serves as the firm's primary technical leader, responsible for overseeing project production, maintaining documentation standards, mentoring staff, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of all project deliverables.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a hands-on approach to project delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the firm's production team.
  • Establish and maintain drawing standards, Revit templates, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Perform quality reviews of construction documents prior to issuance.
  • Coordinate production schedules and staffing assignments.
  • Work closely with project managers and firm leadership to meet budgets and deadlines.
  • Mentor and train architectural staff.
  • Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
  • Participate in project production and technical problem-solving when needed.
  • Coordinate with engineering consultants and support interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Assist with permitting and construction administration efforts.
  • Continuously improve production workflows and documentation standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • 10+ years of architectural experience.
  • Licensed Architect preferred.
  • Extensive experience producing construction documents.
  • Advanced Revit proficiency required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and building systems.
  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring staff.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
