Job description

About the Firm

Our client is a nationally recognized, full-service design firm with a collaborative culture and a portfolio spanning multiple sectors, including education, worship, civic, and commercial design. Our team of architects, interior designers, and specialists believes the best solutions emerge when industry expertise meets creative problem-solving. We are growing and looking for a passionate, driven designer to join our Architecture and Interiors department.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Designer who is early in their career, actively working toward licensure, and ready to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing design team. You will work alongside Project Architects and senior designers on a variety of project types, gaining hands-on exposure to the full design-to-construction process.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about the built environment. You will not just be drafting in a corner. You will be in design sessions, attending client meetings, and building the foundational skills that will define your career.

What You Will Do

You will participate in design sessions and contribute to architectural concepts, translating ideas into plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models. You will produce accurate construction documents using Revit and CAD, coordinate with consultant engineers, and incorporate redlines and revisions from senior staff. You will support space planning, material selection, and the development of client presentation materials. Over time, you will attend client and contractor meetings and gain exposure to project management and construction administration.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program and has a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in an architectural setting. You have an established NCARB record and are actively working toward your ARE exams. You are proficient in Revit and have working knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Lumion. You are a strong communicator, a collaborative team player, and someone who takes initiative without being asked.

Bonus points if you have experience with LEED, EDAC, or sustainability credentials, or if you have used Deltek Vantagepoint in a previous role.

Why Join Us

This firm offers a genuine mentorship culture, a diverse and meaningful project portfolio, and a hybrid schedule that respects your time. You will be part of a team that values your growth, invests in your development, and gives you real responsibility from day one.

The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000 depending on experience.

How to Apply

Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and portfolio for consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.

This is a confidential search conducted on behalf of our client. The firm's identity will be shared with qualified candidates who advance in the process.
