Position Overview

Red Tail Acquisitions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager Intern to support commercial construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects across its portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates interested in project management, construction management, real estate development, or engineering to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and growing organization.

The Project Manager Intern will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to assist with project coordination, vendor communication, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and administrative project support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while working remotely.


Candidate Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; or a recent college graduate (within the last 12 months)
  • Available to begin as soon as possible and commit through the end of September
  • Strong interest in construction project management, commercial real estate, or development projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with team members
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship, coursework, or project experience related to construction, engineering, project management, real estate, or operations
  • Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, or construction documentation
  • Experience using project management software is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating commercial construction and renovation projects across multiple locations
  • Support project managers in tracking schedules, budgets, and project milestones
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates
  • Coordinate communications with vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with bid solicitation, vendor outreach, and proposal tracking
  • Monitor project progress and help identify scheduling or budget concerns
  • Support invoice tracking, purchase orders, and project-related administrative tasks
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting notes and action items
  • Assist with due diligence reviews and project planning activities
