Associate Landscape Architect

Salary range: $73,000-$116,800

Hybrid schedule- one day in office!

Are you a licensed or experienced landscape architect ready to take the next step in your career? Albert A. Webb Associates (WEBB) is seeking an Associate Landscape Architect to play a key role in the design and delivery of diverse landscape architecture projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute technical expertise, lead project tasks, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Project Design & Delivery: Lead the preparation of landscape architecture designs, including site planning, grading concepts, planting design, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements.
  • Project Management Support: Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work products.
  • Construction Documentation: Prepare and review construction plans, specifications, and technical reports in accordance with industry standards and agency requirements.
  • Client & Agency Coordination: Interface with clients, consultants, and public agencies to support approvals, permits, and project execution.
  • Technical Review: Oversee and review work prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, planners, and survey teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or related field.
  • Minimum of 4–8 years of professional landscape architecture experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and standard design software.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, design standards, and project coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Landscape Architect (California preferred) or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Experience with public agency projects and permitting processes.
