What is an Architect Co?

Architect Co jobs typically refer to positions within architecture companies or firms, where professionals design buildings and structures, plan construction projects, and oversee the development of various types of properties. Architects at these firms work with clients to understand their needs, create blueprints and models, and ensure projects comply with safety and zoning regulations. They often collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other specialists throughout the design and construction process. Architect Co positions may range from entry-level designers to senior project managers and partners within the firm.

What are the typical collaboration dynamics between an Architect Co. team and other stakeholders during a project?

Architect Co. professionals regularly collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. This teamwork often involves participating in design charrettes, coordinating technical requirements, and ensuring that client needs and local building codes are met. Open communication and effective project management are key, as architects must frequently balance design intent with practical and budgetary constraints. Team members often use digital collaboration tools and attend site visits together to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an architect, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Architect, you need strong skills in architectural design, project management, and a degree in architecture along with relevant licensure (such as passing the Architect Registration Examination). Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM systems, as well as familiarity with building codes and sustainability standards, is essential. Creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication are vital soft skills for collaborating with clients and construction teams. These skills ensure that architectural projects are functional, aesthetically pleasing, compliant with regulations, and completed efficiently.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Partner Solutions Engineering to drive the technology strategy for our most strategic partnerships, including hyperscalers, AI labs, and beyond. This is a highly strategic builder role at the frontier of AI and platform partnerships, responsible for turning our most important alliances into differentiated product experiences, scalable integrations, and meaningful business impact.
You'll define integration strategy, shape joint technical roadmaps, architect co-innovation initiatives, and serve as the technical lead across a portfolio of Salesforce's most strategic technology partnerships. Working closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, Partner Management, and Go-to-Market teams, you'll transform partnership strategy into customer value by accelerating product innovation, enabling joint solutions, and driving platform adoption.
As a trusted technical advisor to Salesforce executives and partner engineering organizations, you'll translate complex platform capabilities into compelling technical solutions, rapidly prototype and validate new integration patterns, advise partners on product strategy and architecture, and influence roadmap decisions across organizations without direct authority. With a builder's mindset and a curiosity for emerging AI technologies, you'll continuously identify new opportunities to expand our ecosystem, deepen strategic partnerships, and help customers realize the full value of Salesforce.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
  • Define joint technical vision, integration architectures, and multi-year co-innovation roadmaps that align partner investments with Salesforce's product strategy.
  • Lead the technical execution of strategic partnerships by collaborating with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver differentiated customer experiences.
  • Architect scalable technical solutions that accelerate interoperability, co-innovation, and customer adoption.
  • Advise strategic partners on product strategy, technical architecture, and integration approaches to accelerate innovation and platform adoption.
  • Represent Salesforce as the senior technical lead in executive partner engagements, engineering workshops, architecture reviews, and technical design discussions.
  • Develop reusable frameworks, reference architectures, prototypes, and best practices that enable scalable partner integrations across the ecosystem.
  • Identify emerging technologies, ecosystem trends, and capability gaps to shape partnership strategy, influence product roadmaps, and unlock new co-innovation opportunities.
  • Influence senior technical, product, and business leaders across Salesforce and partner organizations to align roadmaps, resolve complex technical challenges, and drive successful outcomes.

You're Our Person If...
  • 5-8+ years in solutions engineering, enterprise architecture, technical partnerships, or a closely related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling technical solutions in enterprise software, cloud, or AI
  • Deep understanding of the AI and cloud ecosystem, including major hyperscalers, AI platforms, enterprise integration patterns, and evolving market dynamics.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), APIs, MCP and agent interoperability, event-driven architectures, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong architectural thinking with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and long-term platform strategy.
  • Executive presence and exceptional communication skills with experience engaging senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, independently drive initiatives, and create structure where none exists.
  • Passion for emerging AI technologies with a demonstrated curiosity for new models, protocols, and developer ecosystems.

Even Better If...
  • Experience working with or alongside hyperscalers, AI model providers, or leading enterprise software platforms.
  • Background in partner engineering, solutions architecture, technical product management, or technical pre-sales.
  • Experience designing AI platform integrations or driving adoption of cloud and AI services through technical partnerships.
  • Familiarity with agent ecosystems, interoperability standards (such as MCP), enterprise data governance, and modern AI application architectures.

Unleash Your Potential
When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life.
