Job description

The Office of Catholic Schools (OCS) is seeking a full-time Project Magi Coordinator to support all aspects of the implementation of the Lilly Endowment, Inc. Marion County K-12 Private School Initiative. Project Magi is a 5-year grant program to improve academic success and the prospects for postsecondary success in 29 archdiocesan Marion County Catholic schools. The Project Magi Coordinator is responsible for ensuring initiative reports are complete and deadlines are met. The Project Magi Coordinator coordinates meetings, processes paperwork, and communicates with all stakeholders. The Project Magi Coordinator works both proactively and responsively to meet these needs to facilitate the smooth operation of this Lilly Endowment, Inc. grant.

The Project Magi Coordinator needs good organization and planning skills to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office products. School experience is preferred.

This position is a full-time, non-exempt position at the Catholic Center. OCS office hours are 8:00-5:30 Monday through Thursday. This position will require some evenings and occasional Fridays. Applicants should have a deep commitment to serving schools, educators, and students in Marion County Catholic schools. Applicants must be willing to foster the Church's mission and belief in the importance of Catholic education as a tool for fostering human dignity and building a better society through the holistic development of students.
