How does an Archery Sales Associate typically collaborate with other store departments to provide a comprehensive customer experience?

As an Archery Sales Associate, you'll frequently work alongside team members from other departments such as general sporting goods, customer service, and inventory management. Collaboration is key when coordinating special orders, organizing in-store events, or helping customers who need equipment from multiple sections. You'll also communicate regularly with the service or repair department to ensure customers receive proper equipment setup and maintenance. This teamwork ensures customers have a seamless shopping experience and helps you stay informed about store-wide promotions and inventory changes.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Archery Sales Associate, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Archery Sales Associate, you need in-depth knowledge of archery equipment, strong customer service skills, and ideally some retail experience. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic knowledge of archery brands and products is beneficial. Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to educate and build rapport with customers help you stand out. These skills ensure customers receive expert guidance, leading to higher satisfaction and sales in a specialized retail environment.

What does an Archery Sales Associate do?

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and treat every customer like the most important person in the building.

  • The 365 Hunter: You aren't just a fan of the sport; you are an active, year-round archery and/or big game hunter who stays obsessed with modern tech, tuning, and industry trends.
  • Culture Fit: You arrive early (10 minutes is our standard!), bring high energy, and have a genuine desire to help others.
  • Skills: Basic math and communication skills are essential for sales and reporting.
  • Physicality: This is a "heavy work" role. You should be comfortable standing, walking, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.

*Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Pay: The hourly rate posted includes personal sales commission and a base hourly wage, averaging out to $20.00/HR.

This is a long term role, NOT a seasonal position
