TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with a comprehension of AP standard of writing.
  • Ability to manage projects, multi-task, and meet deadlines with limited direction.
  • Skilled at creating informative documents and narrative proposals to win new work relevant to UNICO's practice areas.
  • Adept at crafting thorough, persuasive responses that exemplify and convey UNICO's differentiators to our diverse clientele.
  • Support the creation of proposal preparation schedules and coordination of proposal responsibilities.
  • May also support the long-term pursuit strategy for specific clients and projects.
  • Play an integral role in crafting compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn new software programs.
  • Working knowledge or above of Adobe Suite InDesign, Adobe Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CRM database. Experience with Cosential is a plus.
  • Coordinate a wide variety of marketing activities to support UNICO's overall goals under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptualize, research, and produce compelling proposals that differentiate UNICO against the competition.
  • Coordinate and support the production proposal submissions, both electronic and paper versions through strategy development, writing, research, data gathering, production, and delegation.
  • Schedule and lead kick-off activities, development of proposal schedule, coordination and maintenance of project tasks, assistance with writing assignments for key team members (internal & external) to ensure a timely delivery of the document.
  • Verify that every submittal follows all criteria set forth in the solicitation while ensuring all client questions are appropriately answered.
  • Project closeout, updating of proposal content and template maintenance.
  • May assist with the planning, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of a range of marketing support activities including marketing and client information systems, social media, special events, conferences, client outreach programs, project photography, PR, advertising, and corporate identity.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Marketing or Proposal Coordinator, or similar role; A/E/C industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • SMPS CPSM certification preferred
