Walk-in Interviews on Wednesday, February 21st from 10a - 7p and Thursday, February 22nd from 4p - 7p.
America's Auto Auction (AAA) is a full-service used-vehicle auction services provider that facilitates the wholesale remarketing of used vehicles for B2B customers, delivering a critical liquidity function to enable the used car sales ecosystem. AAA facilitates the selling and buying of used vehicles at physical auction sites across 19 states as well as on digital platforms. The CR Writer/Inspector provides efficiency on condition reports and post sale inspection. The CR Writer/Inspectors exhibit superior customer service. The CR Writer adheres to all auction confidentiality and compliance standards. The CR Writer/Inspector will assist in condition reports, PSI, Arbitration and vehicle registration as necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
  1. Always exhibit 'hands on' and direct approach with customers.
  2. Complete any course required by auction for inspector position.
  3. Inspect units cosmetically and mechanically. Ensure all vehicle Condition Reports are in compliance with each client's requirements.
  4. Stock unit into the system complete with trim codes.
  5. Ensure each vehicle's mileage, options, damages, pictures and mechanical status are accurately reported.
  6. Check units for Frame and Flood damage
  7. Photograph all the units to attach to condition report.
  8. Clear all information stored on vehicle's phone and navigation system.
  9. Make sure auction tag is attached to the unit being inspected on 5 mile test drive.
  10. Ensure all tablets are synced, properly charged and handled with care.
  11. Complete 20 to 30 condition reports daily with the exception of sale day.
  12. Work as PSI or Arbitration inspector on sale day.
  13. Work well independently as well as a team player.
  14. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
  15. Performs other duties as necessary.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Computer and light mechanical experience
  • Skills: Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Highly customer service orientated. Computer proficient. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Environment: The environment of the CR Writer/Inspector involves entering data into a tablet or handheld provided by the auction. Must be able to keep valid drivers license for duration of employment. Must drive each unit 5 miles for testing. Inspect underbody of unit. Those working in this position are subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, fast-paced environment, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust at times.
