Company Overview:

Verition Fund Management LLC ("Verition") is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Handle day-to-day HR inquires and support employees at all levels.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including background checks, employment authorization verification, and Day 1 orientation logistics.
  • Handle full cycle immigration process including visa renewals, applications, renewal tracking and extensions.
  • Work with the global HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and legal teams on global relocations, transfers, and short-term assignments.
  • Manage the offboarding workflow for voluntary and involuntary separations, including coordination with managers, HRBPs, and Payroll.
  • Handling HR audits, EEO reporting, administer required trainings, make legal postings, annual refresher background checks and manage additional HR compliance related activities.
  • Complete employment verifications, process worker's compensation claims and complete FMLA and STD paperwork.
  • Manage Workday processes, ensuring data accuracy and maintain accurate employee records. 
  • Create and maintain recurring reports and respond to data requests from various departments.
  • 1-2 years of HR related experience including internships.
