Job description

2027 Accounting Winter Internship 

INTERNSHIP FORMAT 

This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and are expected to work on-site 5 days per week. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from January through March or April 2027, dependent upon start dates.

Interns will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. DEPARTMENT DETAILS 

The intern will: 

  • Assist with year-end financial statement process 
  • Assist with the compilation of various reports for footnote disclosures 
  • Will complete various monthly reporting requirements 
  • Will assist with maintaining audit support packages for the external audit and SOX controls  

The intern will learn and experience: 

  • A complete end-to-end financial statement process including exposure to the external audit 
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems 
  • Fundamentals in SOX processes
  • Developing an attention to detail philosophy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Pursuing an bachelor’s degree or higher majoring in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field from an accredited college or university 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications. 
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship. 
  • Willingness to relocate for internship. 
  • Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by the Spring 2027.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations 
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry
