(formerly MultiLingual Solutions, Inc.) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with more than 21 years of successful experience providing professional language services, foreign language and cultural training, and analysis support to a broad client base consisting of more than 40 U.S. military and intelligence customers, as well as over 2,000 civilian government, commercial and non-profit organizations in various fields. With ISO 9001:2015 and 17100:2015 certifications, AGI provides services in more than 100 languages, employing innovative technologies and methodologies and applying best practices from both the Government and commercial arenas to advance each customerโ€™s unique communication and operational objectives throughout the U.S. and across the globe.


POSITION SUMMARY: AGI is currently looking for an Arabic Linguist to support a government contract. The position requires interaction with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel in a diverse, evolving, high-profile environment.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide translation services
  • Conduct consecutive interpretation between source and target languages
  • Provide summaries/gists
  • Conduct editing and quality control of language products

SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to pass an advanced English test
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
  • Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on a translation, speaking, listening, and reading test
  • Minimum of three (3) yearsโ€™ professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Religion, Science and Technology, and Sponsor Operations areas of focus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Terminology Management
  • Translation Related Services (TRS)
  • Triage
  • Language Training
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Counter-Proliferation, Counterterrorism, Legal/Law, and Military areas of focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Travel is required to meet all mission requirements to include locations on the east coast, OCONUS, and Warzone/Conflict areas.


PAY RANGE: $110,000 - $160,000 a year

Ascensus Global (AGI) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
