Job description

Job Title: Lift Maintenance Mechanic
Department: Lift Operations
Reports to: Lift Operations Manager
The Lift Maintenance Mechanic will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot lift equipment as well as assist Lift Operations with the startup and shut down of the lifts, daily. Other mechanical procedures requiring specialized training will be performed as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot lift equipment.
  • Assist with daily lift startup and shutdown procedures.
  • Ensure all lift areas meet ANSI B77 code and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Read diagrams and manufacturer manuals to perform maintenance tasks, including fitting bearings, rebuilding sheave trains, and servicing grips.
  • Complete all work in a safe, timely, and high-quality manner.
  • Use required PPE at all times.
  • Accurately complete and maintain log sheets.
  • Support the Lift Operations Manager with daily maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Comply with all company and departmental safety standards.
  • Follow service guidelines and complete daily checklists.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including over 40 hours per week as needed.
  • Strong attention to safety for self and others.
  • Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to climb and navigate steep, icy, and uneven terrain.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces when required.
  • Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to loud noise, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
  • Must be able to wear ANSI-rated harness (weight range 130-310 lbs.).
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and team members.
