Job description

Job Title: Seasonal Front Office Agent

Department: Front Office/Guest Services

Reports to: Front Office Supervisor

Our Front Desk team is made up of courteous and specially trained members who are responsible for providing attentive and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Smile, greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming check-in/check-out experience.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and any special requests.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
  • Maintain knowledge of resort services, amenities, local attractions, and events to assist guests.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy, professionalism, and timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, room availability, and guest preferences.
  • Uphold front desk security protocols, including verifying guest identification.
  • Balance cash drawer and perform end-of-shift audits and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Guest Service or Front Desk experience preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional Guest Service skills required.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays.
  • Follow all resort policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
