Operations and Personnel Manager (Seasonal Aquatics) SwimMetro Management is a leading provider of professional aquatics operations in the Central Virginia area, specialized in full-scale management of community facilities.We are currently seeking Lifeguard Managers for the upcoming season in Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, and Chester. This role requires an individual who demonstrates maturity, professional commitment, and the ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Why SwimMetro

In addition to providing fun, outdoor work environment, we prioritize the professional growth of our leadership team: Resume-Building Leadership: Direct experience in personnel management, scheduling, and facility operations. Professional Support: Access to a responsive administrative team and highly experienced regional supervisors. Flexible schedule: Daily hours are 9:30 am - 6:30 pm on weekdays and 9:30 am - 7:30 pm on weekends, but there is flexibility in which days of the week you work.

Further training in leadership, aquatics and safety Seasonal work: This job runs from late May to early September (although we do consider applicants who would need to end the position earlier), making it a great option for college students or school teachers. Key Management Responsibilities: As a Pool Operations Manager, your primary focus is the operational success of your facility, with an emphasis on safety and compliance. You will be responsible for: Human Capital Management: Performance evaluation and coaching of lifeguard staff Staff Coordination: Developing and managing complex shift schedules to ensure 100% operational coverage and safety compliance.

Risk Mitigation: Implementing American Red Cross safety protocols and leading emergency response drills to ensure team readiness. Stakeholder Relations: Acting as a primary point of contact for guests and coordinating with park rangers to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience Administrative Oversight : Maintaining accurate logs of water chemistry, staff certifications, and incident reports for corporate review. First Aid and Emergency Response : Providing basic first aid, as well as coordinating staff response in the event of an emergency .
