JOB TITLE: Robotics Technician DATE:5/2026

REPORTS TO:Robotics Supervisor STATUS:Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment. Maintains assigned equipment, provides training to peers as needed. Support equipment in other areas when needed.

DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor production areas to ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and intervene for repairs as necessary.

1. Utilize all manners of hand and power tools to diagnose, adjust, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
2. Review work orders to ensure accuracy and maintain documentation of work performed.
3. Assist with installation of new equipment or modify existing equipment as required.
4. Provide training to peers as requested or needed by maintenance lead, supervisor, or training department.
5. Make suggestions for correctible measures when downtime results from mechanical or technical defects.
6. Attend maintenance meetings and training as required.
7. Identify opportunities for improvement and give feedback to supervisor about cost reduction, quality improvement and yield control.
8. Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
9. Monitor VRT area to ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment.
10. Be able to handle extreme cold temperatures with proper cold gear for majority of shift in VRT area and production floor.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

1. MUST have a minimum of 6 months industrial maintenance experience.
2. MUST be comfortable and experienced utilizing hand and power tools of all varieties.
3. MUST know how to accurately use and read a tape measure as well as industrial blueprints.
4. MUST have basic knowledge and safety understanding of electrical components.
5. MUST have knowledge ofbasic math, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and calculating percentages.
6. Skill in using a personal computerand various software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
7. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment ranging from -35 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
8. Ability to communicate in acourteous and professionalmanner with all plant employees, as well as third party vendors and contractors.
9. Ability to operate a forklift, scissors lift, or any other powered equipment or machinery as needed.
10. Ability to work with a group of technicians or autonomously with limited supervision.
11. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
12. MUST be able to pass required physical, including demonstrating your ability to lift the required weight for each position.
13. MUST be able to stand and/or walk for entire 12-hour shift.
14. MUST wear correct job specific PPE as designated by company policy.
15. Ability to consistently practice and enforce safe working habits.
16. Ability to recognize safety risks and comply with all safety standards.
17. Ability to work flexible hours when needed.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

1. Associate's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical, Welding or similar fields preferred.

2. Previous experience working with VFD's (Variable Frequency Drive) preferred.

3. Basic Electrical Controls and Robotics knowledge.
